Flat Earth Stupidity: Robbie Davidson
Robbie Davidson is probably the most important figure in the flat earth movement. He isn't as popular as Rob Skiba and doesn't pump out as much garbage pseudo-science as Jeran from Jeranism but he is prolific organizer and promoter of the insipid "theory." Without Davidson there probably wouldn't have been any sort of IRL meet up for the flat earth movement and the collection of freaks and weirdos would have been left to perform mental masturbation in their echo chambers.
Who is Davidson? In many ways hes a typical fundamentalist who has repeatedly engaged in profiteering behavior, most notably in the bitcoin market, shilling for the crypo-currency across the country. He doesn't like going in depth about his theology, almost undoubtedly because that would shrink his customer pool, but he lavishes praise upon the king of the science deniers Kent Hovind and has copy and pasted entire segments of Hovind's seminars into his documentaries.
Davidson will constantly straw man science and seems to think "if man came from monkeys why are there still monkeys?" destroys the evolutionary theory. He also doesn't have a basic understanding of math, history or philosophy and will reject entire sciences, like physics, if they make his particular theology theories look stupid.
Watching Davidson is kind off hypnotizing. It's amazing to watch someone slide deeper and deeper into paranoid insanity all in the name of defending his asinine theories and emotional crutches.
